Giazonne Reyes is a musician based in Oxford, UK. Active in the fields of classical and jazz music, Giazonne combines singing as a Tenor Layclerk in the internationally renowned Choir of Christ Church Cathedral with establishing himself as an exciting new presence on London's jazz scene.
Giazonne plays bass (electric and upright), guitar and piano and principally collaborates with long-time friend Theo Jackson, on whose forthcoming album Trouble Child he appears, playing bass and co-producing.
Aside from this fruitful and fulfilling collaboration, Giazonne explores a passion for early music, especially the vocal music of the English Reformation, and contemporary vocal music post 1950. Other interests include the music of the progressive rock band King Crimson and the application of period instruments to contemporary music and improvisation.
